Shaquita “Shaq” Bryant was born and raised in Martin County, NC. She moved to Florida at the age of 22 to pursue an education in nursing. She obtained her Associate and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from Valencia College in Orlando, FL and received her Master of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University.

Shaq has been a Registered Nurse for over 6 years, has worked in different patient care settings and holds a certification as a Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse. She currently is a Professor of Nursing at ECPI University in Lake Mary, Florida where she oversees educating the future generation of nurses by utilizing clinical experiences and evidence-based practice research. Shaq is also the co-owner of Guardian’s Touch Health Services, LLC. A healthcare entity that supplies the community with different services on demand.

In addition to her professional expertise, Shaq enjoys finding new hobbies to explore in Central Florida, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is passionate about changing the dynamics of healthcare by supporting the needs of the community.
